What it does on the jawline
The skin and the tissue under it along the jaw contract with the heat, the clearance word for the effect, and the line from the chin to the angle of the jaw firms. The session and who it suits
Numbing cream for 30 to 45 minutes, the tip stamped along the jaw and over the jowl, deeper there than on the neck in our practice, 20 to 30 minutes, and in our experience the jawline feels it most. Redness and swelling for one to three days, light crusting for up to five days in our experience, sunscreen daily. Adults, most often in their forties and fifties in our experience, with early slackening along the jaw, on most skin types after assessment. The usual exclusions apply: pregnancy and breastfeeding, an active infection, keloid scarring, recent isotretinoin, a bleeding disorder or blood thinners, an implanted device or metal near the area.
